Applications for new scholarships for the 2020 - 2021 school year will be due on January 31, 2020. This date coincides with the due date of applications to most area private schools. With the increased interest by Georgia taxpayers to request the allowable tax credits earlier in the year, it is anticipated that all of the available credits for 2020 will be claimed by January 1, 2020. Therefore, we will know at that time the approximate amount of funds that will be redirected to our organization. Once we have determined the amount of funds we will receive and taken into account the funding required for our current recipients, if any funds are still available, we will select and notify qualified new recipients. Funds will be available to remit to the recipients school of choice on April 17, 2020. Please return to this website for updates or contact info@ssoforga.org to inquire.
